The Computer Museum
System Source Museum is the largest computer history museum in Maryland. Based in Hunt Valley, the space hosts a collection of an upward of 1,000 computer artifacts.
For this project, I was prompted to redesign an existing website, and I chose to work with Baltimore’s own Computer Museum’s web presence.
I conducted a UX analysis of the
general museum web experience and
initiated my process.
I chose to establish a priority guide to rank each function on the homepage by importance. I also evaluated possible improvements and
solutions by plotting them on a user value vs. impact graph.
The established hierarchy was then used to develop an intuitive navigation system.
